Watch D.O.G.S.

Dads of Great Students

WATCH D.O.G.S.® is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that encourages fathers and father figures to volunteer in schools in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.

Dads at Spring Hill Elementary are invited to volunteer for an entire day and work with students at all grade levels. WATCH D.O.G.S.® Volunteers help greet students, read with a small group, and play academic games with students. They also participate in recess and promote good sportsmanship. Each Dad also gets time during the day to eat lunch with their child and spend some special time in their child’s classroom.
