Spring Hill Elementary is identified as a Title I school. Title I is a federal aid program for schools. The goal of Title I is to ensure a high quality education for every child, by providing extra help to students who need it most. Title I has three primary objectives:

1. to improve student achievement for all participating children
2. to improve staff development
3. to improve parental and community involvement

Spring Hill Elementary is identified as a Targeted Assistance School. Specific criteria are used to identify which students receive Title I services. Those services are supplemental services to the core program; they focus primarily on reading and mathematical support.

All teachers and paraprofessionals who work at the school must meet the criteria of Highly Qualified set forth by the Kansas Department of Education. Parents are welcome to inquire regarding the qualifications of those teachers and paraprofessionals who teach their children.
