🔧 SHMS Reroofing Project Update
Spring Hill Middle School has begun a reroofing project that will continue over the coming months.
Throughout Spring Break (March 13–20), crews will be on site from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once students return, work hours will shift to 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (March 23–May 22) to help minimize disruption during the school day. Construction will continue through the summer and may extend into the fall if needed.
During active work times, you may notice cranes, trucks, and other equipment on site. These will only be present while work is taking place and will not remain out during the school day. (Material staging and contractor parking will be located in the south parking lot near the front entry.)
Thank you for your support as we continue improving our facilities.

Congratulations to our quarterly Leadership Award Winners!

Yesterday was our annual March Madness, an event completely organized and performed by fifth grade students. We had dodgeball, singing, skits, Pokemon card pack opening, concessions, mascot jousting and more. It was so fun!

Today we received a generous donation to our Book Vending Machine in memory of Lesia Stiles, former high school library aide. Thank you!

Our school building will be closed the week of Spring Break, March 16–20, as construction begins on our HVAC system. This work is part of an important upgrade that will improve the comfort and efficiency of our building for students and staff.

This is your last week to purchase a yearbook! Sales end March 13!

Pokemon Day on Friday, February 27th!

In the February newsletter, the quick front page graphic had the incorrect date for PTO to collect pop tabs. It states February 23 - 27, but it should be March 23 - 27. Sorry for the confusion!

We were treated to an amazing show today brought by the Stone Lion Puppets. Student contestants competed to test their knowledge of recycling, composting, the water system and more alongside the puppets!
